For lessons 1, 2, 3 and 4 which are information gap games, students must summarize the information they received during the classes. For lessons 5, 6, 7 and 8, students must write their opinion on the
topics discussed in class. During lesson 10, students will be instructed on how to create their Final
Conversation which will account for 40% of their final evaluation. Lessons 11, 12, 13 will require
students to write their opinions.
A mix of listening to lively recordings and reading the latest news will help you to improve listening skills, broaden your vocabulary and lead to group discussions.
Active class participation 30%, homework 30%, final conversation 40%.
Class participation is essential and will be an important part of your final assessment.
There will be no textbook for this class. The teacher will provide copies for every class.
You must keep these copies together in a file and bring to each class.
