For lessons 1 and 2 which are information gap games, students must summarize the information they received during the classes. For lessons 5, 6, 7 and 8, students must write their opinion on the topics discussed in class. During lesson 10, students will be instructed on how to create their final conversation which will account for 40% of their final evaluation. Lessons 5, 9, 14 will be quiz days.
A mix of listening to lively recordings and reading the latest news will help you to improve your listening skills, broaden your vocabulary and lead to group discussions.

Active class participation is essential (10%)
Textbook title to be given at a later date. The teacher will also provide copies to be kept together in a file and brought to each class.
In addition to your textbook, your teacher will provide up-to-date copies of articles from the Japan Times and the New York Times for the purpose of discussion on hot topics of the day.
English is the working language of this classroom and you will be expected to use English at all time, It is your chance to interact in English not only with your teacher but especially with your classmates.
Working on the knowledge you already have, this class will give you confidence to communicate in English as often as possible and improve your fluency. You have English, now letfs USE it!
