 This course aims to improve and expand upon students' current level of speaking ability by learning and practicing various components of spoken discourse. These include regular practice with using vocal projection, intonation, peer speaking analysis, practice with individual presentation of spoken language and overall speech for effective communication.

 The first section of this course will focus on having students prepare spoken conversations as well as building up tools such as online interfacing for increasing vocabulary and confidence. The middle section of this course will have students practicing how to prepare for speaking in front of others, using voice projection, tonal and speed control, while the final section of this course will help students speak freely while debating and following clear and concise discussions.

 Students will be asked to produce well-developed narrations on topics chosen by both instructor and students. Special attention will be paid to clear and concise spoken discourse that builds on prior speaking ability while developing a keen sense of how to respond, formulate and describe various concepts using simulated exercises of modern speaking techniques.

 Students should develop regular practice schedules throughout their weekly routines. Keeping notes and writing down outlines in preparation for spoken presentations.
