A variety of topical issues will be discussed in class preparing students to make a presentation.
Students will master skills for presenting opinions clearly on a variety of topics.
They will learn phrases and expressions giving them confidence to express ideas.
They will research these topics in order to provide statistics and relevant data to support an opinion in a class discussion. Write a well-structured paper to enable a lively presentation.
Students will be confident in expressing their opinion.

13th Cosmetic Surgery.
15th Looking Back.
For classes 1 to 5 students will review and write an opinion on the class topic. For classes 6 and 14
students will prepare questions to ask their fellow students on their presentations. For class 8
students must read a recent news item.
A review of the previous class followed by the introduction of new vocabulary. Listen to the topic of the day. Form your own opinion, in groups discuss the topic and find a solution.

No textbook. Please bring a plastic file to class every week to keep weekly photocopies handed out by the teacher.
Magazine and newspaper articles and film reviews will be distributed and various recordings will be used.
English is the working language of this class-room, it is your chance to interact in English with your classmates and teacher at all times and communicate YOUR ideas.
Sometimes we need to disagree with someone and this is difficult to do in any language. In this class you will learn the vocabulary and language devices necessary to express a different opinion. Say it strongly and say it with style!
